Twin Lakes (0-2) at Rensselaer Central (3-0)

Rensselaer Central will open up Hoosier Conference play at home Friday night by hosting Twin Lakes. You can hear this game on 3kgthekage.com with a 6:45 p.m. pregame show.

The 3-0 Bombers are coming off an impressive 28-14 road victory at Western last week while the 1-2 Indians lost to Tipton 19-14.

It's been a pretty even series between these two schools over the last 37 meetings, with the Bombers leading 19-18. RC won last year's contest 56-14.


Tri-County (0-3) at North White (0-3)

This Midwest Conference matchup features two teams searching for their first win of the season.

The Cavs for the third straight game were limited to a touchdown in a 34-8 loss to West Central while Winamac took care of the Vikings 62-24.

Over the past 40 meetings, North White holds a slim edge, 21-19.


North Newton (2-1) at Kankakee Valley (1-2)

The Spartans recorded an impressive 48-20 home victory last week over North Judson while South Bend Washington scored a touchdown late to edge the Kougars 14-7.

Kankakee Valley defeated the Spartans last year 16-13. Over the last 21 meetings, KV holds a 14 games to 7 lead.


Carroll (2-1) at South Newton (0-3)

The always tough Cougars are coming off a 34-6 victory over Taylor while South Newton was shut out at home, 38-0 against Frontier. In fact South Newton has scored just 14 points the entire season and have been shut out twice.

Carroll won the last meeting between these two schools in 2014, 45-29 and lead the series 4-2.


Culver (1-2) at West Central (3-0)

The Cavaliers lost 42-14 to Knox last week while West Central rolled by Tri-County 34-8.

Culver won a shootout last year 51-46 and the Trojans lead the overall series 18-14.
